Fathomfire Foundry is a one-person independent game studio founded in 2026 and built on a simple promise: games worth playing, from a studio worth trusting. Its titles are free or low-cost, funded by optional cosmetics, paid expansions, voluntary supporter memberships, and community backing, and never by ads, energy meters, or pay-to-win mechanics. The studio is open to mission-aligned capital, but not to investor-dictated design. The studio is currently building two games in the open: Havenforge, a cozy match-and-merge factory builder, and The Old Below, a tactical, generational dungeon crawler with more than three years of story — its seasons, villains, and events — written before the game entered production.
