This policy covers this website. Our apps have their own policies: Havenforge Privacy Policy.

Who We Are

This website is operated by Fathomfire Foundry LLC ("we," "us," or "our"). Our website is located at fathomfirefoundry.com. If you have any questions about this policy, contact us at hello@fathomfirefoundry.com.

What Data We Collect

We are committed to collecting only what we genuinely need. Here is exactly what this site collects, and why.

Email sign-ups ("Join the Foundry")

If you choose to join our mailing list, we collect your email address, the interests you select (which games or topics you want to hear about), and basic context about how you signed up: the page or button you used, and any campaign link information (UTM parameters) if you arrived through a link we shared. We use double opt-in, which means we send a confirmation email and only add you once you click the link inside it. We never add anyone who did not ask to be added.

Our mailing list is managed by EmailOctopus, who store and process this information on our behalf as our email provider. Every email we send includes a one-click unsubscribe, and you can leave at any time.

Website analytics

We use Vercel Web Analytics to understand, in aggregate, which pages people visit and whether things like the sign-up form are working. It is privacy-friendly and cookieless: it does not store cookies on your device, does not follow you across other websites, and does not build an advertising profile of you. We only ever see anonymous, aggregated numbers, never a record of any individual's browsing.

Suggestion box submissions

If you submit a game idea or suggestion through our site, we collect the name or handle you provide along with the content of your submission.

Server logs

Vercel, our hosting provider, may collect standard server log data (IP address, browser type, pages visited, timestamps) as part of normal infrastructure operation. This data is held by Vercel and is not used by us for advertising or marketing. See Vercel's Privacy Policy for details.

How We Use Your Data

We use your information only for the purpose you gave it to us: to send you the development updates, playtest invitations, and launch news you asked for (based on the interests you chose), to confirm your subscription, or to read and consider your suggestion. We keep the sign-up context (which page and campaign you came from) only to understand which of our own channels people found us through. We will never sell, rent, or trade your personal data to anyone, and we will never sign you up for unrelated marketing.

Who We Share It With

We do not sell your data. We share it only with the service providers who help us run the site, and only so they can perform that service for us:

We may also disclose information if the law requires it. That is the entire list. If we ever add another provider that handles your data, we will update this page.

Cookies and Tracking

We do not use advertising cookies, third-party ad networks, or cross-site tracking pixels, and we do not embed social-media tracking widgets. Our analytics is cookieless and does not identify you personally. If we ever add anything that would track you across other websites, we will update this policy and, where the law requires it, ask for your consent first.

Children's Privacy

This site is not directed at children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has submitted personal information to us, please contact us at hello@fathomfirefoundry.com and we will delete it promptly.

Your Rights and Choices

You are always in control of your information. If you are on our mailing list, every email includes a one-click unsubscribe, and you can leave whenever you like. Depending on where you live, you may also have the right to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you. The simplest path is to email us at hello@fathomfirefoundry.com and we will handle your request promptly and transparently.

Changes to This Policy

We will update this policy whenever our data practices change. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page always reflects the most recent revision. If we make a material change, such as beginning to collect a new kind of information, we will make it prominent on this page.
