Havenforge Privacy Policy

The Short Version

Havenforge is designed to be played offline. By default, no personal information leaves your device. We do not require an account, we do not show ads, and we do not sell your data — ever.

What the App Stores on Your Device

Your game progress

Your workshop, haven, cosmetics, and settings are saved locally on your device so you can pick up where you left off.

Optional anonymous diagnostics

If you turn on "Share Anonymous Data" in Settings, the game records anonymous gameplay events (for example, "reached the tech tree," or session length) and error and crash logs to a file on your device. These contain no name, email, contacts, precise location, or advertising identifier — only a random ID generated on your device that is not tied to your identity. This toggle is off unless you enable it, and you can turn it off at any time.

What We Collect Off Your Device

In the current build: nothing. The diagnostics described above are stored locally and are not transmitted to us or to any third party.

If a future update introduces off-device features, they will be opt-in, and this policy will be updated before they are enabled:

• Cloud save (optional). If you choose to enable cloud save, your game-progress file would be stored with a cloud provider so you can restore it on another device. It contains game state only — no personal profile.
• Anonymous analytics upload (optional). If we later enable uploading the anonymous diagnostics above, it will remain governed by the same "Share Anonymous Data" consent toggle.

Purchases

Havenforge is free to play. If in-app purchases are offered, they are optional cosmetic items only and never affect gameplay progress. Payments are processed by the platform store you buy through — the Apple App Store, Google Play, or Steam — and we never receive or store your payment card details. Each store's handling of that transaction is governed by its own privacy policy.

Ads

Havenforge contains no advertising and no advertising SDKs. We never build advertising or behavioural profiles.

Children's Privacy

Havenforge's content is suitable for all ages, but the app is not directed at children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

• We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone. The app transmits nothing off your device by default.
• We show no advertising of any kind, and we never build advertising or behavioural profiles.
• We do not sell or share personal information. There is nothing to sell: it never leaves your device.

If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at hello@fathomfirefoundry.com and we will delete it promptly.

Links to Our Website

The app can open our website in your browser — for example, the Support page or this policy. No personal information is sent from the app when you follow those links. Our website is covered by its own Privacy Policy.

Your Choices

• Turn "Share Anonymous Data" on or off in Settings at any time.
• Delete all locally stored data using Reset Save in Settings, or by uninstalling the app.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy as the app evolves. The effective date at the top of this page always reflects the most recent revision. Material changes, such as beginning to collect a new kind of information, will be made prominent here.
